LSI SAS1068 query RAID status?

HP Proliant DL160G5 with:
SCSI storage controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS1068 PCI-X Fusion-MPT SAS (rev 01)

running RHEL5, i installed psp-8.11.rhel5.x86_64.en.tar.gz.

how do i query the controller for raid status? or do i have to rely on syslog output?

(psp installed StorMan, but that dioes not recognize the controller)

Hi,

as far as i know there is no HP tool for monitoring the LSI SAS controllers(Storage manager is for the SATA ones), to monitor the RAID subsytem you need the "MegaRAID Storage Manager for SAS" :

"MSM for Linux" is what you need.

thanks... meanwhile i found http://www.drugphish.ch/~ratz/mpt-status/ works pretty well for monitoring and it is _mach_ smaller. (and commandline)
