Maximize Your ProLiant Server Performance with the Latest SPP Updates

We are pleased to announce the latest updates to the HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP), encompassing support for Gen12, Gen11, Gen10, and Gen10 Plus Server platforms. These updates include new features, enhancements, and critical fixes to ensure optimal performance and reliability of your HPE ProLiant Servers.

What's new in this Release:

Gen12 SPP 2025.01.00.00: This release includes support for the following Gen12 platform:

• HPE Cray XD230 Server

Gen11 SPP:  Gen11 SPP 2025.01.00.00 SPP supports Gen11 Intel and AMD based Server Platforms and Options. This release supports newer Gen11 servers based on 5th generation AMD EPYC Processors.

Gen10/Gen10 Plus SPP:  To reduce the frequency at which the servers need to be updated, HPE has changed the packaging and delivery of the SPP.

There are two types of SPP's.

1. Production SPPs: Individual Production SPPs contain firmware and drivers for all the production server generations.
2. Post-Production SPPs: Server generation specific Post-Production SPPs contain the firmware and drivers for a specific post-production server generation.

Patch Bundle & Fixes:.

Gen11 Patch Bundle: Patch Bundle version 2024.04.00.02 majorly includes the following changes apart from updated firmware and driver versions released post Gen11 SPP 2024.04.00.01:
• iLO6 version 1.61
• Smart Update Manager (SUM) 10.9.0

Gen10/Gen10 Plus Patch Bundle: Patch Bundle version 2024.04.00.02 majorly includes the following changes apart from updated firmware and driver versions released post Gen10 SPP 2024.04.00.01:
• iLO5 version 3.06

Content Reports:

Detailed content reports for each SPP versions of Gen12 Gen11 and Gen10 are available, outlining all included components, their versions, and applicable Server models. 

Server Support Guides:

Comprehensive Server support guides provide information on supported hardware configurations, compatibility matrices, and installation instructions for each SPP version.
