Memory upgradation in Compaq proliant ML350 G3 server
i upgrade memory of my ML350 G3 server with 1 GB to 7 GB. but it shows only 3.75 GB memory in OS.
before upgradation the server was with 1 GB single module. it have 3 more additional memory slots. i upgrade this 3 slots with 2GB *3. after upgradation during POST it counts 7 GB memory, but in windows 2003 server there it shows only 3.75 GB. can anyone tell is anything we need to do in OS for taking full memory.

Windows 2003 Standard is a 32bit OS.
32bit OS's can only see / use just under 4GB RAM.
As far as I can remember Windows 2003 Enterprise supports upto 8GB...
