ML150 G5 and E200 SmartArray
Have just purchased these two items, only to find I have no way of connecting them as the cables that the controller card suggest should be with the server are not in fact within either package.
Does anyone have any experience with using this controller card with multiple SATA drives?
and should the ML150 come with any CDs, or cables other than mouse, keyboard and power lead?! The server did come with a SmartStart CD, but that only goes on to say it is not compatible with ML150series servers... doesn't seem very 'HP like'!
Any thoughts?

Re: ML150 G5 and E200 SmartArray
Any genereration of ML/DL 1XX series don't sustain Smart Start tool.
And there you are specs for E200 so you can see what you want.

Re: ML150 G5 and E200 SmartArray
I could only suggest, but it wouldn't be usefull for you and your question!
But, for sure, SMART START any version isn;t comaptible with ML/DL 1XX version!

Re: ML150 G5 and E200 SmartArray
If you plan to use Hot-plug hard drives use cable : 438160-B21
If it is a non hot-plug hard drive: 457692-B21
As far as Smartstart is concerned, yes 100 series of server do not support Smartstart.
The smartarray has to be configured through ORCA / E200 BIOS.
