migrate w2k smart array 2 to smart array 5i

Hello,
Is it posiible to move a w2k installed on a server using smart array 2 controller to a smilar server but with a smart array 5i controller ?

At the HW level it will be ok....but the OS will not load as the SMART2 and 5i use different drivers
