Missing Operating System
The server was working okay coming from the factory.
I renamed the drives D and E for the internal standard of the company and run some tests from the SmartStart CD them I am no more able to boot to Windows 2000. I got an error "Missing Operating System". If I try to install Windows 2000 again I got a message " HardDrive unknown"
What can I do ?
Dominique

Re: Missing Operating System
Hi
I had the case a couple of times, specially after playing with drive letters.
It might sound silly but have you checked that your windows system partition is still marked as active ? ( try booting with a W98 floppy and run a FDISK - sometimes SA controller screw this up ) - Hope it helps ..
