This morning I noticed an amber light on one of my servers which I determined is internal systems. (second button)
How can I troubleshoot this issue? I inherited the servers and neither the SmartStart software nor the hp management software had not been installed. I have several different versions but do not know which version or what software to install to help me diagnosis the problem.
I would appreciate any guidance.
Thank you in advance,
carol

Re: ml 370 g3
you can try to install the latest ProLiant Support Pack. This will install the Systems Management Homepae as well as the latest Insight Agents.
If you can open the running server, try to open it and look for red oder amber LEDs.
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: ml 370 g3
I installed the tools and had to reboot to complete the installation. Thankfully, the light went out and the Integrated Log shows:
Corrected Memory Error threshold exceeded (System Memory, Memory Module 3)
Without these tools, I would have still been in the dark as to what occurred.
