Hallo,
i have replaced E200 controller + all of four HDD 250GB. I have the recovery DVD but, obviously, I no longer have the "don't erase" partition. How can i recover the server?

Re: ML110 G5 iTB recovery
Hi,
What is this Recovery DVD? Are you referring to "HP ProLiant ML110 G5 Easy Set-up CD".
Thank You!

Re: ML110 G5 iTB recovery
Sorry but: HP ProLiant ML110 G5 Easy Set-up CD is not a recovery dvd.
I mean:
HP ProLiant Storage Server with All-in-One Storage Manager System Recovery DVD Version 7.0
thank you

Re: ML110 G5 iTB recovery
Now obviously I do not have that partition, but the dvd recovery at startup tells me:
an invalid logical drive configuration has been detected...
and reboot the system.
Can you help me to recover the server with a different logical drive configuration?
thanks

Re: ML110 G5 iTB recovery
Hi,
HP ProLiant ML110 G5 Storage Server - Installing the Storage Server.
By doing the below steps you will loose all the data on the partition/volume. Proceed with caution.
Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
1. Reboot the server
2. Select F8 to enter the Smart Array Controller BIOS.
3. Delete all the Smart Array Created Partitions
4. Exit the Smart Array Controller BIOS (do not reboot the server)
5. Continue to boot with the Recovery DVD.
The recovery CD will then create new partitions and continue with the restore.
Thank You!
