ML150 G5 QCore embed Sata Raid Win2008 = ntldr missing
I Know these drivers were delayed/released unfinished to market, but jeez...
now my daily maintenance includes
restoring from clonezilla image backup every $%^#$$%$ day
HP/Adaptec: whats up?
Win20008 doesnt even have an NTLDR, its all BCD code.
Doesnt matter if the two 160GB internal satas are running JBOD or RAID1,
ntldr is missing
reboots kill it, especially after yesterdays patch tuesday.
partition is fine, starts on 1MB barrier etc.
This is all stock MS DVDs and HP.com drivers
what gives?
thinking about a DELL right now...

Re: ML150 G5 QCore embed Sata Raid Win2008 = ntldr missing
is this an new installation issue , or is this a running system that "looses" the sata connection?

But If you do take the step to post your question on this forum you do not have to forward this to anyone who tries to help you!

Re: ML150 G5 QCore embed Sata Raid Win2008 = ntldr missing
Will have to wait for a weekend to change from
IDE to RAID-1 to see if it made a difference.
We have to reload Windows Server 2008 DVD, SQL Server and Vendor code from scratch.
At this point, im pointing fingers at the HP/Adaptec driver as the corrupting "part."
P.S.
A new mainboard clock comes set to Jan 1, 2006.

Re: ML150 G5 QCore embed Sata Raid Win2008 = ntldr missing
Im working the warranty side of things
as usual its really slow.
people make buying decisions based on reviews and forum postings.
im hoping to inject a little user experience into the HP business model
