ML310 Megaraid ATA-100 array recovery procedure
If a drive in a 0+1 array files (drive # 3 0f 4 drives in this case) how do you go about replacing it and rebuilding the array? I put the new drive in the same physical and logical position and the array set up utility (ROM Based) keeps wanting to put the new drive in a new array, or assign it to "spares." It won't let me edit either of the 2 stripes to assign the drive to a stripe and if I simply attempt to rebuild the degraded array, it says it is an "invalid source/target." Any help would be appreciated.

Re: ML310 Megaraid ATA-100 array recovery procedure
Hi Richard,
Did you ever figure out how to do this? I'm having a similar problem (but using RAID 1+0) and need to replace a failed drive. I've replaced the drive but it does not allow me to rebuild the mirror to it. It treats it as a separate drive.
