ml330 g3 mirrored drives (raid 1)
The primary ata 80GB drive failed. I disconnected the primary and the system succesfully boots up on the secondary drive (server 2003). The drives use the Integrated Dual Channel Ultra ATA 100 ide adapter with integrated Raid 0,1, & 1+0.
Question: When I replace the primary drive will the system automaticaly mirror the drives or do I need to intercede in some fashion.

Re: ml330 g3 mirrored drives (raid 1)
Hi,
not sure, but if the rebuild don't start automatically, go into the controller BIOS during POST(when asked) and declare the new drive as a spare drive - the rebuild will start then automatically.
Regards,
Pac
