ML350 G6 old partition info remains on recreated RAID
Hi,
I have an ML350 G6 that previously had ESXi 5.0 installed on the local storage array (a RAID 10 on the P410i controller).
Have have since deleted the array and recreated as RAID 50 using the same drives and have installed ESXi 5.1 to the SD card.
However, at the beginning of the install when when you choose where to install ESXi it says it can see VMFS partition already existing on the newly created RAID 50.
I went ahead and installed to SD card and when I go to create a datastore on the new RAID 50, it still shows several VMFS partitons that existed on the old RAID 10?
How can this partition information remain after deleting the RAID 10 and creating a new RAID 50?
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Paul
