Hi,
as in the subject, I have ML350 Gen10 / P408i-a SR Gen10 controller with array in Raid 5. Disk 900GB 15K.
I would like to replace one of the hard drives with a larger (1.8 TB) but slower (10k). Can I do that?
Thanks
Andrea

SolutionHi @Andrea Cicchelli ,
Failed disk can be replaced with larger size, but it consider the lowest disk size as a standard for raid configuration.
You can replace the failed disk with lower speed disk (10K) but the performance may very.
Please refer the quickspecs (Page No.36, 37, 38) of the server to confirm that the replacing disk.
