ML350 Gen9 and disc SSD Intel 960GB in Array P440
Hi,
i have server ML350 Gen9 with Intel SSD discs ATA LK0800GEYMU (800 GB discs), and they are ok.
One of discs failed and i put in:
SSD 960GB INTEL 2,5" DS-S4610 TLC SSDSC2KG960G801
(i cant find ATA LK0800GEYMU in seller's cause they as far as i know are EOL)
I have there RAID 1 with Spare Disc.
Array Controler P440 Rebuild the array (RAID 1) after disc change (and not showing any warning's),
but Wear Status of this disc is "Not supported" so i dont see how many time or precent left to disc fail (i know i can read it from report (ADUReport) and that is no matter for me at this moment).
My question is: If this disc fail or second member of RAID 1 array controler will be know it and transfer data to spare disc ? (i dont care about status of disc itself, but need to be sure the data is secured correctly by RAID 1 in this case).

Hello,
Please refer to section Core Options > HPE Hard Drives on the HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen9 Server's QuickSpecs for list of supported SAS and SATA hard drives.

Re: ML350 Gen9 and disc SSD Intel 960GB in Array P440
Hello,
As my colleague has already share the link to check the compatible Drives.
Also Non-HPE Hard Disk Drives may not work on ProLiant Servers because the Server's BIOS, iLO and Smart Array Controller Firmware may not detect a Non-HPE Hard Disk Drive
