ML350 reinstallation with a different disk set - how to save present array adapter config?
Hi all,
I am considering reinstalling the OS with a different disk set for disaster recovery process documentation. Is the array data saved onto the adapter? do I need to back it up and then restore it again when I reinstall the present configuration?
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Re: ML350 reinstallation with a different disk set - how to save present array adapter config?
Incase you have the array configured using Smart Array, the configuration is saved on the disks. There is no option to take the configuration Backup.
You may simply remove the existing disks and mark the bays in which they are installed.
Plug in new disks and configure.
When you want to revert, take out the new Hard Drives and install the old Hard Drive in the slots they were in.Everything should come up fine.
