ML350g6 Disk Array Expansion

Last night after the office closed I added 2 300gb drives to the server and used the HP ACU to "expand" the array.  This morning it was finished but still shows the array size as 836gb.  There are 6 300gb drives it should show 1300+-.  I am at a standstill on this however I need to get the extra space as I need to virtualize a server that is having hardware issues ASAP.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you need to extend the logical drive after expanding the array.  This is also done within the ACU.  Lastly, you'll have to expand the volume residing on the logical drive to utilize the additional space.  What OS are you running?  You may also have to rescan the storage so the OS identifies the available space before being allowed to expand the volume.
