Query: MO0800JFFCH 822559-B21 firmware issue

Hi all,

I have a customer who has suffered drives faulty due to this old HPD firmware with these drives installed in a DL360 Gen10.

We are reviewing other server wich was configured with same order part number of drives 822559-B21 but I think they are another hardware revision of these drives because iLO says there are P1635N08 EMC800 drives with revision EQPC and faulty drives were recognized as MO0800JFFCH, all drives were supplied with same HPE part number 822559-B21. 

Could someone confirm if that firmware version is free of this bug? I am unable to find any information and we don't have an HPE support contract for these servers.

Hi,

I have the issue solved for MO0800JFFCH but there are other drives with same PN 822559-B21 that are being recognized by server as P1635N08 EMC800 and they have different firmware (EQPC) and I can't upgrade them with that flash tool and I can't find any information if these drives are also affected by the firmware bug.

AS per your given information its seems to be non HPE part.  kindly remove the particular disk from enclosure/bay and share the HDD snap to validate HDD make and model.
