MPIO DSM install fails with (-5006: 0x8000ffff)

Attempting to install MPIO DSM version 2.01.00 on Windows x64.... on any proliant....

Issue is, installed the PSP's during cmdlines.txt, any server that I do this with the install fails.

However, if I don't install as part of the cmdlines.txt and make it guirunonce or manually run it works fine.

Now, for all you google people, I have deleted the common files thing, I have made sure I don't have a software restriction policy etc...

I think this is a bug with the MPIO installer with x64 as x86 works just fine....

Any ideas anyone?

I had a similar problem, and the fix was to copy the DSM locally, expand it locally, and then run the setup from this local directory.

I am having the same issue with PSP 7.91a and this is X86 of R2 w/ SP2. Guirunonce works fine but in cmdlines, hpsum fails. Googling for a solution brought me here.
