MR408i (P58543-001) disappeared after SPP-2024.11.00.00 update on DL 360 G11

Hi everyone

I am presented with the following problem:

After updating a DL360 Gen11 server to SPP-2024.11.00.00 the MR408i-o controller is no longer detectable in UEFI or Intelligent Provisioning-MR Storage Administration.

Appears in iLO-Device Inventory with firmware version: N/A

Anyone have suggestions?

Hi @Peterbod_1 ,

       Please try to update only the MR controller firmware. It works well.
       Please find this Advisory which is most relevent but it is little old.

If I perform the firmware update (52.28.3-5681) only for the MR408i controller, I get the following message:

NO MATCHING TARGETWAS FOUND FOR THIS UPDATE/UPLOAD

I'm afraid the controller is dead

The error may occur if the controller is not being detected.

-> Perform an AC power cycle or power drain on the server and check the result.
-> Verify if the controller is visible in the BIOS.
-> If it is not visible, reseat the controller and check again.
-> If the issue persists, please collect the latest AHS logs and log a support case for further investigation.

thanks for the reply
I have already done these and other operations such as completely resetting the server (fortunately it is not yet in production), but the controller remains not visible in the BIOS. I'll proceed with opening a case with Support.

Hello, 

You can also boot in this SPP and chose the intiractif mode / use the downgrade mode / selecte your Raid Controlor / and downgrade it to the previose version.
