New to HP ProLiant. Whats the equivalent HP Support Assistant software? To update drivers.

Hello there!

I managed to download and install HP Support Assistant but when i run the scan it says there are no update available... So this must be for HP Desktop only.

Is there a equivalent to HP Support Assistant for HP ProLiant servers?

On the Support & Drivers page of the server there is a LOT of packages but i don't want to install all of them, because obviously i will probably install unnecessary drivers and softwares... 

I tried searching "HP Support Assistant for HP Proliant Server" but did'nt find anything.

Hi,

yes, it's called "Service Pack for ProLiant".

Software Details - Gen10 Service Pack for ProLiant | HPE Support

It is a package that includes Firmware, Driver, and Software for all Supported OS for all Server Models.
If your Server is older than Gen10, then it's a different pack.

That Pack is Intelligent and Install only Software for the Hardware it detects.
