NIC Teaming Issues LACP NC373i

Cisco Nexus 7000 Switch
HP DL380 G5 Server NC373i NIC

Teaming two NICS trying to use 8023ad and destination IP address, but LACP keeps failing. If I use auto/auto or SLP the team comes up and the NICS show connected, but traffic does not flow.

I cant even ping the default gateway.

Using the newest NIC Driver and Teaming Software

Any ideas?

To start with, first ensure that the NC373i firmware is update..

And, refer the following document on LACP issue with Nexus 7000:

Ensure that the ISO is IOS 12.2.40SE or above.

Thanks for the links and ideas, but we are at the newest firmware and the Nexus is setup properly. I spoke to HP support for several hours and they determined the NC373i cant do LACP and recommended different NICs

I will continue to search for an answer. I have a large number of servers with these NICS and do not want to replace them
