On board ethernet connect/disconnect
I have installed Windows 2000 onto the 1600 and also SP1, but I still get problems with the on board network card, it keeps disconnectting and filling the event log up with messages.
I have tried the lastest drivers and the problem persists, I have even changed the hub to a switch to make sure it wasnt that.
I have also installed a compaq nic into the box just to prove it and that worked fine, but I need to use the on board as irq's are scarce in the cage and adding another card should not be the answer

Re: On board ethernet connect/disconnect
Did you get this working? If you did please post the solution since i have exactly the same problem with some of our 1600. The "funny" thing is that we have 5 exactly identical computers and only 2 is having this problem. We didn?t have this problem with NT4 it appeared when we installed W2K. The servers are E34 (PII 300) with W2K spack1 and smartstart 4.80.
