OneView Server Profile and Templates Question.
Hello,
We are using Server Profiles and Server Profile Templates to configure our servers.
In the BIOS section, under the Server Asset Information, there is a field called Custom POST Message. I want to put the server profile name and the server asset tag in there. Once the individual server profiles are created, based on the profile template, I want this information to be populated on the individual server profile, and into the server BIOS stating the actual server profile name and the server asset tag.
The closest I can find to this is the Hostname under iLO settings where it says, in a box, 'server profile name' followed by -ilo.
So my question is, can I do something similar in the Custom Post Message field and what do I need to put?
I have tried copying and pasting the entry in the Hostname and it puts '{serverProfileName}' but that doesn't translate it into the actual profile name and just show {serverProfileName} when the server botts and not the actual server profile name.
Thanks in advance.

Re: OneView Server Profile and Templates Question.
Greetings!
Custom POST message under asset information is to display a custom message on the POST screen.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sd00001068en_us&docLocale=en_US&page=GUID-D7147C7F-2016-0901-0A69-000000000FDF.html
Try to manually enter host name details for you get the same details displayed on POST.
Custom POST message is not related to ILO hostname settings.
To change the hostname settings in ILO 5> Please refer the below guide
