Online upgrade of disks firmware

Hi, All!
I have HP DL380 G3 server with Win2k installed. Can I online upgrade the firmware of hard disks like I upgrade firmware of controller, netcard etc? I can't find online firmware upgrade for disks.

disk drive f/w upgrades are a off-line process only using i.e. a bootable cd :

Their is no on-line disk drive F/W upgrade method like the ones available for controllers using smartcomponents i.e.

I always ask this question, why do you want to? Most of the modern disks do not have corrective firmware updates.
