P430 Caching is Permanently Disabled
Hey,
I had a P430 Controler on my computer when I saw that caching was disabled a few weeks ago. (Yes, I know the battery died one day before the screenshot) But before that, I improperly installed the controller and broke the motherboard on the card. The thing I broke was responsible for caching, and I bought a new card, thinking it would reset. But NO, I still get the "Caching is permanently Disabled" Is there a command I can use to fix this? I have SSACLN.

Re: P430 Caching is Permanently Disabled
Hi,
Have you tried updating the FW on the controller?
Check for the latest version by going into Revision History on the download page.
Thank You!

Re: P430 Caching is Permanently Disabled
Hey, I am SO sorry for not coming back here in a while, I had plans for other stuff and forgot about this. Yes I did try to update it, however it was already up to date.

Re: P430 Caching is Permanently Disabled
Hi,
As suggested in the error, you may have to replace the Battery/Cache module.
But its worth trying to reseat the Cache/Battery and check if its a loose connection.
Thank You!

Re: P430 Caching is Permanently Disabled
I have tried that, I replaced both the cache and battery, but it was still disabled. I also tried reseating and the same error.

Re: P430 Caching is Permanently Disabled
Hi,
If you have tried replacing battery and or cache and still same issue, I think its the controller itself.
But do contact HPE Support and share the diagnostic report for their suggestion on this issue.
Thank You!
