P816i SSACLI Member drive function within Raid 1+0
Hello,
Below is the logical 'show' output from an 8-drive Raid 1+0 supported by a HPE P816i. I'm looking for some help interpreting the result. From what I'm accustom to this looks more like a Raid 0+1 with a mirrored set of 4 striped drives (not the intent).
We would like to arrange the member drives so that no two mirrored pairs are pinned to the same backplane or physical port. I would be accustom to seeing 4 raid groups under a Raid 10 like this allowing the desired arrangement.
For example, is 1I:1:1 mirrored to 2I:2:1? If that is the case, then I'm where I want to be with this.
Thanks

Re: P816i SSACLI Member drive function within Raid 1+0
Hello @ GCTuma ,
Thank you for your post.
Unfortunately, the HPE P816i does not provide that level of manual control in the GUI or CLI. It typically autoconfigures RAID 10 as mirrored groups, rather than as mirrored pairs.
