PCI 5v full length slot

Is there a current model Proliant server that accepts the 5v 33Mhz Full Length PCI card?

Re: PCI 5v full length slot

ML350 G3 has a 5v Slot. Not sure is about the full length though; but by looking at the chassis design, I think it should be ok.
ThereтАЩs your problem!!! This thing is set to EVIL!

Re: PCI 5v full length slot

hi,

5 Volt or universal cards

Expansion Slots I/O (5 Total, 5 Available) PCI Voltage:

64-bit/100MHz, PCI 4 (4 available)
(Array model has 3 available) 3.3 Volt or universal cards

32-bit/33MHz, PCI 1 (1 available) 5 Volt or universal cards

Re: PCI 5v full length slot

I forgot to add that it needs to be rack mountable. The ML350 is floor standing.

Re: PCI 5v full length slot

DL380 G2 - full length 64-bit/33Mhz PCI slot
Also the ML350 G3 can be rack mounted

Re: PCI 5v full length slot

Hi,

Vijay is right ProLiant ML350 Generation 3 Tower to Rack conversion is possible and we need following kit.

Conversion Kit 290683-B21

Where DL 380 g2 is concenred we have following details:

Primary PCI bus

* System Board Embedded PCI devices only
* PCI to ISA bridge
* 33 MHz, 133 MB/s data transfer rate
* No slots

Secondary PCI bus

* One 64 bit PCI slot
* Slot 1 on Riser board
* 5 volt at bottom of server
* 33 Mhz, 267 MB/s data transfer rate
* Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition supported

Teriary PCI bus

* Two 64 bit PCI slots
* Slot 2 and 3 on Riser Board
* Full length, 3.3 volts
* Support PCI Hot-Plug
* 66 MHz, 533 MB/s data transfer rate

So we can go with both of them.

Prashant S.
