I have an ML150 G6 just purchased that im spinning up to be used as a fax server. I need to install this modem board in one of the slots.
http://mainpine.com/images/stories/documents/mainpine_express_datasheet_print.pdf
RF5124 / IQ Express 8-Line 8-Line PCI Express Fax Board (Low and Standard Profile)
The ML150 has multiple slot options but I'm not sure if they are compatible can anyone confirm this? Not a PCI expert so I don't know for sure.
The documentation for the modem board states...
Supports All PCI-Express Expansion Slots
PCI-Express 2.5Gbps Single Lane (x1)
Link supports all x1, x4, x8 and x16
PCI-Express slots
The actual size of the slot is much larger (x8) then the connector on the card. Do they mean that it can be fitted into these slots?
Thanks in advance...
