Permanent restart after Windows Boot Logo
Dear Community, I have a problem that I would like to share with you. Our Windows Server 2003 Small Business (HP ProLiant ML110 G3) restarts automatically as soon as the Windows logo is displayed and is in an endless loop.
To make sure that none of the hard disks is defective, I have already cloned both of them. Unfortunately, it turned out that this was not the cause of the problem. We then tried to mount the two hard disks in another system, but the result remained the same.
Unfortunately, we no longer have the Windows Server 2003 CD to create a restore point. I tried to create a USB stick with Windows Server 2003, but from there I could only have done a new installation, without access to repair mode or CMD (command prompt).
Both Safe Mode and Troubleshooting Mode do not work as the server keeps restarting.
The BIOS detection shows both hard drives.
Is there an ISO file that can be used to invoke repair mode and does anyone have any other ideas?
Thank you for your suggestions

Re: Permanent restart after Windows Boot Logo
Good day!
I can suggest a few steps that might help you troubleshoot the issue.
>> In order to see any error messages that might be causing the restart loop, you can disable the automatic restart feature. To do this, follow these steps:
a. Start your server and press the F8 key repeatedly before the Windows logo appears.
b. On the Advanced Boot Options menu, select "Disable automatic restart on system failure."
c. Allow the server to continue booting. If there's a blue screen error, it will be displayed instead of restarting. Take note of the error message.
>> While you mentioned that you cloned the hard disks and tested them in another system, it's still worth checking for any other hardware issues. Ensure that all the hardware components are properly connected and there are no loose cables or faulty components.
>> Faulty RAM can also cause restart loops. You can use a tool like Memtest86+ to check the server's memory for errors. Create a bootable USB or CD with Memtest86+ and run the memory test to determine if there are any issues with the RAM modules.
>> Try booting from a different installation media: If you're unable to find a Windows Server 2003 ISO file, you can try booting from a different installation media, such as a Windows 10 or Windows 7 installation disk or USB. While it may not give you access to Windows Server 2003 repair options directly, it might provide some alternative troubleshooting options.
FYI, the Windows Server 2003 is no longer supported by Microsoft, and it's strongly recommended to consider upgrading to a newer and supported operating system to ensure security and compatibility with current software and hardware.
