guyz am having this problem with my proliant 1600r server. whenever i ping a machine or a site it is giving me some funny timeouts e.g 1700ms, which is abnormal. i changed the network card but it is still having the same problem. does anyone have a solution out there?

try pinging the following(I'm sure you already know this) 127.0.0.1

See what you get for a response time then. Itf the response is <10ms then I'd say it is a network issue and not the server...
