Power cable for RTX A4000 and DL360 Gen10

I wonder if someone can help me finding a correct power cable for NVIDIA RTX A4000 16 GB GPU and Proliant DL360 Gen10 server.

NVIDIA RTX A4000 GPU requires a 6-pin power connector, while the PCI Riser (part number 869432-001) on the Proliant DL360 Gen10 server has an 8-pin mini connector.

I believe I need a mini 6-pin to 6-pin power cable. However, I have been unable to locate the specific part number for this cable. The only cable I have come across is the 875097-001, which is a mini 6-pin to 8-pin GPU power cable. I am unsure if it is possible to remove two pins from the GPU end of this cable to convert it into a 6-pin connector?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or advice regarding the availability of the correct power cable for this setup. If anyone has knowledge about whether the GPU end of the 875097-001 cable can have two pins detached, please kindly share that information.

Hi,

I am quite not sure if your server is DL360 Gen10 or DL360 Gen10 Plus.

If its DL360 Gen10, then RTX A4000 is not supported.
If its DL360 Gen10 Plus, then this card is supported.
Please check the server QuickSpecs, page 57.  HPE ProLiant DL36x Gen10 Plus CPU1 A4000 GPU Cable Kit P50031-B21

in theory from what I have found yoou need:

HPE GPU-Power Cable Kit / Stromkabel - 8-pin to 1x 8-pin & 1x 6-pin (PCIe) - ProLiant DL380 / DL385 Gen10 - 871830-B21

Standard cable 875097-001 mentioned in the parts list is 8-pin to 8-pin.

Another original kit HPE ProLiant DL36X DL360 Gen10+ Plus CPU1 A4000 GPU Cable v2 Kit P50031-B21

The QuickSpecs of HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Server on page 58, indicates that the cabel kit needed is HPE DL360 Gen10 GPU CPU1 v2 Cable Kit, whose option part number is P23272-B21.
