Problems installing P600 controller in DL380 g4

Hi,

We currently have a DL380g4 which is running server 2003 sp1. I am trying to install a PCIX P600 smart array controller which is going to be attached to a new Storage works MSA60. I have run the latest firmware update CD but the new card is still not being picked up. I tried running the drivers within windows and it says the device is not installed. Not sure if I am missing something obvious, so any idea's would be greatly appreciated

if so
let me tell you something it is not the first time I see a PCI card not recognized since only SP1 is present I've seen several times that SP" is needed to recognized such devices

Thanks for your suggestion. The problem seemed to be the slot I had installed the card into. I since installed it into another PCIX slot and all worked. I also installed the driver you suggested and everything is working well. Many thanks
