Problems with DAAD
Hello.
After upgrading 3 Proliant Servers from Smart 4.x to 5.10 i got an "Error" that DAAD V 1.42 found in Systempartition is out of date.
I know, that it is repaced by DAU and would like to remove it from the the upgraded System Partion.
How to ??
What i did myself.
Boot to NT:
Remove Eisa Partition NT Parttion becomes 1 former 2
Boot to Smartstart
Instalting new Partition
Boot to NT (Partiton is still on (althoug there is the Eisa Partition (luckly i had another boot.ini string))
in this special case there was free disk space in the array. After adding and delting another partition partition number becomes 2 (as it was before the remove partition hack)
In the wild there is no chance to do it this way, becaus there is no free space. Any solution (for exmaple FTEDIT from Resource Kit?? Dangers ???)
greetings from Germany
