Processor Upgrade
I have a P75 processor board. I was wondering if either a Kingston TurboChip or and Evergreen upgrade will work on this. I was looking to bring it up to 233MHz or 400MHz. Will the BIOS support this?
Thanks,
Kevin Bowling

Re: Processor Upgrade
The original unit was upgradeable to 133 or 166 mhz, or 200 mhz with a 6/200 FlexSMP Dual Processor Board. The units were advertised as Processor board upgradable to faster Pentium processors including Pentium Pro. I have no information concerning non-compaq upgrades. The 200 mhz flex SMP board seems to be your best bet.

Re: Processor Upgrade
So let me get this straight - I can take out my P75, and replace it with a P133/166, with no other hardware swaps or configuration settings?

Re: Processor Upgrade
It will not work.
Proc config is in flash rom. It's factory configured.
