Proliant 3000 - adding new drives to an established RAID array

I have a Novell 5.1 Server with a Compaq Smart Array using RAID 5 on three 18.2 GB SCSI Ultra 2 hard drives (it can hold up to 10 drives). I would like to add 2 more hard drives to the RAID WITHOUT having to redo the entire system i.e. Redo the Server from scratch to include the 2 new drives. Is there any way to simply add the 2 new drives and include them in the RAID without losing the current data?

if as you say you are using an array controller then yes but also depending on which array controller you have...some of ours (all the newer ones) support drive expansion and extension but some of the older controllers do not...if it can be done then it is done through the acu ..array configuration utility
