Proliant BL Servers and UPS

Hi,

WE are planning to have 8x Proliant BL20PG2 Severs. we need to have a compatible UPS which will controll the shutdown of these server in case of a power outage as well. Please let me know which model of UPS can do this job on a blade server.

You can use network shutdown via Ethernet, all servers from one UPS. For example, APC SmartUPS with Network Management Card EX 10/100BaseT and PowerChute software.

The only UPS you can use with a BL20p blade enclosure is the UPS R12000 XR:
