Proliant cant ping Printserver (Edimax, PrintSir Plus)

Hello, we have bought a new ProLiant ML 350 G6 Server with Windows 2003 Standart R2 SP2. We wanna replace the old Maxdata (AD, Print, File-Server) with the new Proliant.
My Problem, i cant ping the Print-Servers from the new ProLiant (EDIMAX PS-1206P, PrintSir Plus). I also cant Print to them or go to the integrated Print-Server WebPage. There is no Firewall (Soft/Hard), Router,... between. Theyre on the Same IP/Net - Range. No Vlan,... The other Servers and Clients can ping everything. But the Proliant cant ping the Edimax. Edimax Support says that's unlogical. Is there a known Issue? Or maybe a MacFilter installed on the ProLiant? I do not know where i should start do look... Please give me any hint you have! Thanks very much!
