I have a Proliant DL360 Gen9 server with advanced license which I'd like to install Red Hat Linux on. Unfortunately, I am unable to boot from the virtual media. Booting from USB didn't work as well. I am offsite now so the only option available is to try to install via IRC. The server goes through the boot sequence but finally comes up " No bootable devices were detected". The firmware version is 2.53 May 03 2017. I would be grateful for your advice.

You start the remote console and select the ISO or USB device.
Now it depends what boot mode was used to create the boot media and what mode the server is booted into (legacy/UEFI).
These modes must match.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

SolutionI attempted installation again using intelligent provsioning. Apparently, the OS does not support secure boot. So I disabled secure boot by navigating to System Configuration → BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) → Server Security → Secure Boot Settings → Secure Boot Enforcement and voila installation is successful. Thanks for your tips and suggestions.
