Proliant DL360 Mirrored drive failure
My server drive 1 has failed (amber light).
Do I just pull out the failed drive (9.1Gb) and it will automatically rebuild itself? Is there anything I will need to do in Windows once the rebuild has taken place?

Yes. You only need to replace broken drive and array will start automaticaly rebuild
You can check array rebuild status with HP system management homepage (it is part of Proliant support pack)

Re: Proliant DL360 Mirrored drive failure
I have a similar situation. But want to upgrade the drives. I have two 18gigs mirrored. Can I pop one out pop in a 36gigs and have it rebuild? what is the simplest method to do this? I have ghost as an alternative.
Thanks

Re: Proliant DL360 Mirrored drive failure
Mark - I would replace the first drive with a larger drive, let the mirroring complete, then pop out the remaining small drive and replace it with another larger drive.
Once this is complete, use diskpart to expand the volume. Note: this will not work for your system drive (C), nor will it work for (D) if the disks are aligned as below:
|_C____|_D______|_E____|_freespace___|
The free space must exist at the end of the partition requiring expansion (E)
