Re: ProLiant DL380 G5-HP Insight Diagnostics Online
You might consider updating your software, to start with.
The latest array diagnostics utility I could find for 32-bit Windows is this:
And the latest Insight Diagnostics is:
HP Insight Diagnostics Online Edition 32-bit 10.14.1575.0
The SSA diag may depend on you having the newer SSA versions of the storage configuration utilities, (SSA = smart storage administrator) instead of the older ones (ACU = array config utility).
Also update any of the other system drivers if you haven't in a while. Just go here and pick the Windows 2008 W32 for the OS:

Re: ProLiant DL380 G5-HP Insight Diagnostics Online
Oh, and I forgot to mention... since the DL380 G5 is older, you may want to look at the downloads for a NEWER model and still pick the same Server 2008 W32 OS to see what software there is. Things like the updated diag software (like the 10.x I mentioend) may still work on the DL380 G5.
Or, it may not. Sometimes HP drops support for older servers in their latest management software, but I always like to try. It could just be that they don't bother updating the links for the old systems.
For instance, I don't see anything in the release notes for the 10.x version of the Insight Diag utility that mentions dropping support for the G5 models.

Re: ProLiant DL380 G5-HP Insight Diagnostics Online
Hello
First of all, thanks for your help.
I have done what you propose, but I want to restart the server, and I must wait for a better time to do it.
But the question persists.
I will give more details after the reboot
Thanks

Re: ProLiant DL380 G5-HP Insight Diagnostics Online
After the reboot the problem persists
I instaled the Version 9.64.1262A - Jan 2 2014 of the HP Insight Diagnostics Online and it works
Thanks anyway.
Best Regards
Delmira
