Whats the best option here for nic teaming - Is the HP recomended software better or use intergrated windows software - through server 2019

Where do I get the HP teaming software for this adapter -

As per microsoft document what settings are people using - we are going with

LACP
Dynamic ? - I think
None all adapters Active

Hi,

there is no more HPE NIC Teaming Software.
NIC Teaming is now completely included in Windows from Microsoft and HPE did no longer needs to deliver there own Teaming Software.

LACP is the best option, but it needs a Switch Port configuration.
Switch Independent is second Choice, it needs no Switch config, but only Outgoing Traffic is teamed.
Failover is the third choice, the Second Adapter is only Standby.

thanks for this the settings you can chose change depending on selection

Teaming mode : LACP  / switch independent / Static teaming - we will chose LACP

Load balance mode : Dynamic / Hyper-V Port / Adress Hash - will chose dynamic

Standby adapters : none all active
