ProLiant DL380 Gen9 - Cache Module Status Failed

Hi everyone,

I have some troubleshoot with a ProLiant DL380 Gen9.

I fixed the ILO and see this information on the storage page on System Information :

Controller on System Board : Cache Module Status - Failed

Control on SLot 3 : Cache Module Status - Failed

Have you an idea to fixed it ?

Thanks a lot !

Hi,

well, there was another completely stupid answer from the AI up there.

I suspect that the Raid controller's battery cache is defective. These usually have a lifespan of 4-6 years.
Take a look at this video: Smart Storage battery replacement - DL360 Gen9
