The tape drive was recognised but after completing the scsi load sequence the HP ethernet boot agent loads and then I received the error 602:
Diskette Boot Record Error
(There is no floppy or cd in the drives).
I have disconnected the scsi tape drive and rebooted but the same error appears and will not go past it.
The HP Ethernet Boot Agent is v3.1.15
HP Ultra 3 Bios.
What is causing the error and how do I correct it?
Thanks for your time.
Mike

Disconnect as well other External USB Devices such as UPS connected to the Server via USB Port.
Thanks

Re: Proliant ML350 G3 - Error 602 - Diskette Boot Record Error
Removing it worked perfectly. Thank you kindly for the quick responses.
I didn't try the first response as removing the USB drive worked so I haven't rated it.
Thank you anyway though.

Re: Proliant ML350 G3 - Error 602 - Diskette Boot Record Error
Additional Information.
The Error could be also caused by LAN Card(s) installed which could be easily resolved by reseat the LAN Card(s) or replace with other LAN Card(s) Model.
Thanks
