Hello, I have just received a Prolient ML350 Gen9, 2x 2623V3, running Ubuntu 20,04. Everything seems to work fine for startup.
Except that very shortly after, the blower races repeatedly every 3 to 4 minutes, emitting a violent sound like an ambulance siren for about twenty seconds.
I don't see where this failure could come from.
Thank you for your help coming
See you soon

Re: Prolient Gen9 the wind tunnel is racing
Hi,
You may need to check the number of fans in the server and firmware levels.
If there are two processors then here is the fan configuration required, refer to page# 8

SolutionYes I have partially solved my problem and I thank you for your help!
Indeed, the ML350 only has 3 fans even though it is equipped with 2 processors.
So we will order at least 2 more fans.
On the other hand, I found that the backup battery (block assembled with 2 green batteries)
was defective, one of the batteries was swollen and leaking!!!!!
This set dated from 2015, I think it needs to be replaced every 4 or 5 years.
Once removed, I no longer have the sound of sirens from the wind tunnel.
We also ordered this part.
Thanks again
Sincerely
