"Service Information: Runtime Fault, Memory, Processor, 1 Memory Channel 1-3 (05h)"
Hi HPE community,
We will need your advice on the possible workarounds we can try to resolve the error code as mentioned in the above header. Currently, this was flagged up in our DL160G10 server. We have already engaged with our HPE onsite engineer to replace all the major components (system board, DIMM card, CPU and PSU etc.). However, the same error persists.
Please let us know how we can approach and resolve the issues.
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Aaron

Re: "Service Information: Runtime Fault, Memory, Processor, 1 Memory Channel 1-3 (05h
My general approach to "fixing anything" is:
Sectionalize, Localize, Isolate, Extract, Repair Replace, Repeat.
The error seems very general, however Memory Channel 1-3 seems to identify a specific range of memory slots.
Have you tried, only plugging in Memory to other channels?
If you open up the server and look at it from the front. Memory channels count from left to right.
1,2,3 should be the first ones in line from the left.
Try placing Dimms only in the white ones closest to the cpu.
And none in 1,2,3 then Boot
Best Regards
Valentin
