"Windows cannot find the MS Software License Terms.." Inteligent Proviosoning ML350p Gen8

Hi

I am re purposing a server we had that was running win 2008R2 and have upgraded the bios and intelligent provisioning to enable it to boot from a flash usb drive to install server 2016 which is supported on this server. It appears to be doing everything as expected but once restarts "Starting Windows" comes up with an error "Windows cannot find the Microsoft License Terms. etc" and cannot then precede. I created a bootable flash drive as well as using the iso and get the same issue. How do I resolve this?

Thanks for your response

This is not the issue. This is not a VM install.

I can install Windows 2012 server no problems. I would suggest this is a firmware issue with the server. I could do with a firmware update ISO for this (there appear to be one for gen 8.1 but I do not appear to be able to obtain this without a contract on the server being available).

When I go through the firmware update prior to install this does not work (which could also possibly fix the issue) as it goes to hp.com, not to the specific firmware upgrade for the server.

Is there anyway this could be fixed?
