Hi i am having remote desktop issue on a dl 380 G5 server.
Actually what happening is when i go to my computer> Properties> Remote Tab>. under Enbale remote desktop on this computer option it doesnt display the button of "Select remoter Users". I have one other server with same OS but its running fine.
The server is Windows server 2003 SP2. Working as a workgroup.
Note" I am doing this with Local Admi account.

Hi,
do you have terminal services installed.
Check :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814590/en-us
As summary : there are 2 types of "RDP" by w2k3 - remote desktop for administration and terminal services.
Remote desktop for administration will allow only 2 admins to connect through RDP.
To enable other users you need to have Terminal services running in application mode.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828056/en-us
Strange is that you have an equal server which is not showing the same behaviour...
For Windows Server 2003, you 120 days for an evaluation of terminal services...
If they are expired on this server and not on the other, this can be an explanation...
Hope this helps to clear out the issue, but not sure at all
