Replace Array Controller

I would like to replace the 2DH array controller with a 3200. If I leave the drives in the server, will the new controller recognize the array? I am hoping to replace the card without having to create a new array and delete what is on my drives.

unfortunately no not with these two controllers...our newer controllers have the ability to migrate from one to another ..but you will need to backup data..create new partitions and raid sets and restore to the new set...
