Replacing SSD Cache drive
Hi new user here,
I'm supporting a DL380 Gen 9 and am getting an SSD Wearout error from iLO. This server is configured with the P440 raid controller. Now I need to take down the server to replace the Raid cache battery since it's also bad, is there any special procedure to replace the SSD cache drive, or do I just swap it out?

Re: Replacing SSD Cache drive
Hello,
If you have a downtime to replace the cache battery then you can safely replace the hard disk as well.
The part description will determine if the disk is a hot plug /hot swap. So you can check the part number/model number and do a quick search to determine if this can be done online.
I am an HPE Employee.
