SAS disk failure
Hi, i hope someone can help me with this. I have 2 ML 350 g5. One with 4 disk sas 10k 146 gb, one with one port and the other 3 with 2 ports. The RAID is 1+0.
And the other server have RAID 1, with 2 sas 10k 146 gb, one with one port and the other with 2 port. Firmware 1.84
Last weak one disk of the server with 4 disk failed ( the one with one port ) in the bay 1. Server still running fine.
Can i replace the failed disk on the server with raid 1+0 with the sas disk in the other server ( the one with two port ). This action will work fine? Can a i do this just unplugging the disk and put in the other server? I supossed that i must shut down the server that have 2 disk, take one disk and put in the other server powered on?
